In light of recent rains and the forecast of continued precipitation and moderate temperatures, the countywide fire safety burn ban for unincorporated Pierce County was lifted Sept 11, 2019.

Stay Safe When Burning Yard Debris
  1. Renew your Burn Permit to ensure that it is current;
  2. Review the Burn Permit agreement requirements for safe yard debris burning; and
  3. Follow all Puget Sound Clean Air Agency rules and regulations when burning yard debris.
If you do not have a Residential/Recreational Burn Permit, you can obtain one at Anderson Island Fire/Rescue, at 12207 Lake Josephine Blvd.
